The MDMF is established in honor of the late Michael De-Graft

Michael was diagnosed in May 2017 with stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma. He underwent various stages of management between his date of diagnosis and 2021. Although Michael succumbed to cancer in early 2021, his life continues to inspire us to trust in Jesus while doing all that we can to prevent other young Ghanaians from succumbing to this type of cancer.

The MD Memorial Foundation seeks to create awareness about Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. We offer support to young people with this type of cancer and provide moral guidance through evangelism among youth across the nation.

Through our activities, MD Foundation aims to provide access to relevant expert information and support the early detection and treatment of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Our evangelistic efforts are motivated by some of Michael's last words and his call to us.

What We Do

Our main areas of intervention include:

Education & Awareness

We work with a broad range of partners across society to create awareness about Hodgkin’s Lymphoma; and educate Ghanaians on the signs, symptoms, and treatment options.

Support

MD Memorial Foundation offers support to underprivileged patients diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma while helping their families to provide optimal care to them.

Evangelism

We incorporate the message of Jesus Christ, the master healer, into all our activities. We believe that while humans medicate and provide care, total healing comes from God
